Substitute Process
Are you interested in serving as a substitute teacher and/or classroom paraprofessional? Then Whiteside wants you!
Substitutes must be on the St. Clair County Regional Office of Education’s Master Sub List.
- Stop by the ROE at 1000 South Illinois Street, Belleville, IL to complete the approval process.
- One approved by the ROE, come to Whiteside Elementary School or Whiteside Middle School to apply as a substitute and meet the principal.
- Whiteside School District utilizes the AESOP/Frontline automated substitute system.
Substitutes are hired for half-day or full-day. Pay rate is $110/day for both teacher and paraprofessional positions.
